SDPI Helps to Repatriate Body of Ramanujam Kannathasan from UAE to Hometown

UAE: The body of Ramanujam Kannathasan from Pazhiyanur, Chennai, Tamilnadu State, who passed away in Ras Al Khaimah was finally repatriated to India with the help of SDPI Mysore Team members on 15 April 2018.

The deceased Ramanujam (41) from Pazhiyanur, Chennai, passed away due to cardiac arrest at his Ras Al Khaimah labor accommodation on 11 April 2018 noon. Since Ramanujam was feeling sick in the morning he did not go to work. Later when his colleagues noticed his motionless body in his room they took him immediately to the nearby Hospital, where the doctor declared him dead due to cardiac arrest.

SDPI members Mujeeb, Riyaz, Fazil and their friends wholeheartedly assisted during the Police Investigation, arranging documentation and consulting the Indian embassy to repatriate the body to India.

The relatives of the deceased, friends and his Sponsor appreciated the Social Democratic Party of India’s (SDPI) Mysore Team members for their efforts in repatriating the body to India. Embassy Community Affairs officers also extended their support.

SDPI members express their deepest condolences to deceased’s family.
