Selection Trials Announced for U-23 Women’s Cricket Team in Bangalore
Bangalore: The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) is pleased to announce open selection trials for the Under-23 Women’s One-Day cricket team. These trials aim to identify and select three to four teams that will participate in selection matches scheduled for the first or second week of February 2026 in Bangalore.
The selection trials will be held on Sunday, January 25th, 2026, commencing at 9:00 am at the KSCA-B ground in Bangalore. Aspiring female cricketers are requested to notify their respective zonal convenors or zonal offices regarding their intention to participate. Participants are required to report at the venue by 8:00 am on the specified date, dressed in appropriate cricketing attire and accompanied by a photocopy of their date of birth certificate.
Dormitory facilities will be provided for girls arriving from mofussil centers exclusively for the purpose of freshening up on January 25th, 2026.
Strict eligibility criteria have been established for participation in the selection trials. Only girls born on or after September 1st, 2002, and before August 31st, 2009, are eligible. Furthermore, girls below the age of 16 years will not be permitted to attend the selection trials.
