Six Arrested for Pelting Stones at Maulana Azad Minorities Bhavan
Mangaluru: The Pandeshwar police arrested six persons on August 18, in connection with stone-pelting at the Moulana Azad Minority Bhavan.
The arrested have been identified as Dhanaraj Shetty (21), from Goodshedde, Sushanth (20) from Yemmekere, Karthik Shetty (26) from Kanduka, Sagar (20), Manish Puthran (20) and a minor from Hoige Bazar.
On August 13, late-night miscreants pelted stones at the Moulana Azad Minority Bhavan and damaged the window panes. In this connection, a case was registered in the Pandeshwar police station.
Based on the CCTV footage of the building, the police arrested the six youth. All the six were produced before the court, and five of them were sent to judicial custody. The minor was released on bail.
