Suratkal Tollgate should be Cancelled – Yathish Baikampady
Mangaluru: A meeting was held to cancel the Suratakal Tollgate in front of the DC office gate here on February 28.
Under the leadership of Yathish Baikampady, the following points were discussed and a memorandum to cancel the Tollgate at Suratkal was submitted to the DC.
- Suratkal toll gate not being legal should be closed
- While the road tax is being paid while buying new vehicles why is the toll collected in Suratkal
The likeminded people unitedly opposed the collection of toll in Suratkal and demanded to close down the toll gate.
