‘Tech Vision’- a Intra Collegiate Project Contest at Sahyadri College, May 1
Mangaluru: “Tech Vision” is a one-day intra-collegiate project competition to be held in the Sahyadri Campus, Mangaluru on 1st May, 2018. The main objective of this event is to inspire young minds of the engineering students by providing them a platform to demonstrate their skills and knowledge through projects. Around 20 Lakh rupees have been spent on Sahyadri Project Support Scheme (SPSS) wherein the grants are being provided to each of the qualified student projects.
More than 710 projects including SPSS and Non-SPSS projects of BE, M.Tech and MBA and VTU final year projects of B.E students will be on display. More than 3000 students will be participating in the event demonstrating their engineering talent. The Student Project Fund will be sponsored by the Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management.
During this event, students will exhibit their projects. There will be diversified projects in all streams of engineering and also projects of societal use. Tech Vision 2018 will be on Tuesday, 1st May, 2018, between 10:30 am – 11:00 am, at Sahyadri College Campus.The Chief Guests for the event will be K. Prabhakar Rao – Director Works. Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd., and Dr. Ramakrishna – Senior Principal Scientist (Food Engineering, Packaging) of Defense Food Research Laboratory, DRDO, Min of Defense.
