Three Fishermen Drown After Boat Capsizes Near Gangolli
Kundapur: A tragic incident near Gangolli resulted in the drowning of three fishermen after their country boat capsized on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Suresh Kharvi (48) of Gangolli, Rohith Kharvi (35) of Belikeri, and Jagadish Kharvi (50) of Malyarubettu.
The incident occurred when the fishermen, in a boat owned by Sipayi Suresh, encountered turbulent sea conditions. While attempting to return to shore, their vessel reportedly capsized. Of the four fishermen onboard, one managed to swim to safety.
A search operation is currently underway to recover the bodies of the deceased.
