Tit-for-Tat! Pat Braggs Clarifies about Defamation Complaint on Him
Mangaluru: In response to the report (RTI Activist Ajoy D’Silva files Defamation Complaint against Pat Braggs) published in Mangalorean.com dated 12 May 2017, Patrick Braggs has sent the following clarification-
“Regarding the defamation report published in your website. The facts are follows:
As per the false complaint made by Ajoy D’Silva at Urva Police station, the police conducted an enquiry in my presence and found that the alleged Defamatory posts were not done by me. Hence I was absolved of any wrongdoing. And a statement of mine was recorded to the effect. And the matter ceased there. Now after Ajoy failed to get me into trouble… He used his influence with the press and posted these mischievous allegations and got it published. I have no intention to pursue the matter…. For there is saying arguing with foolish people is akin to wrestling with pigs. Just publish this clarification so that people are aware of the true facts.Thank You “-Patrick R Braggs.
