U T Khader Condemns Assault on Ram Mohan
Mangaluru: “On November 10, in Thokkottu RSS leader Ram Mohan was assaulted by miscreants which I condemn. I have spoken to Police commissioner Chandra Sekhar to take necessary action and to use the state special investigative team to find out and arrest the perpetrators of the crime. I strongly condemn the attack on Ram Mohan”, said the minister for food and civil supplies U T Khader in a press meet held at the Circuit house here on November 11.
Khader further said, “Due to the failure of the intelligence in the district we see repeated crimes taking place and this should be stopped. It is necessary to appoint intelligence officers in the Ullal area by the police commissioner to prevent such crimes taking place. I will talk to the home minister to strengthen the intelligence department”.
Khader also stressed that such incidents will provoke communal violence. We have all information about the attackers who came on a motorbike. The police should take this case seriously and severely punish those involved in this crime so that others should not dream of committing such crimes.
When asked about the demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 denomination, Khader said, “There is no problem to provide ration for the demonetization notes. At the same time, the Union Government should take measures to provide necessary currency to the people so that they will not face problems in the day-to-day activities”.
