  1. New appointments, promotions, transfers, special assignments etc., are valuable and important in the Catholic Diocese. The changes enable priests to move along to different areas of the Diocese and interact with new parishoners and share their leaderships and also propagate their faith.

In America, the Priests also have a choice and opportunity to express their own desire to move into another Parish, if possible, so that perhaps they can prove themselves better in an environment that is more conducive for them.

The Priest has a tremendous responsibility to service the people and make the best that he has so that the Christian faith may further expand by proving his leadership in different areas of the Diocese. The most important thing in this time and age is to make sure that the Priest as well as the people of the Catholic congregation get the best benefits to prove their faith and be a role model to each other.

India is a classic example where the Church and the people have lot to dedicate to each other for and beyond our daily faith. A Parish has a great deal to offer to the people in their surroundings in times of mutual needs so that our Christian faith becomes a living example to many others that belong to the secular world.

  2. I hope every church edifice in Udupi Diocese includes lavatories and parking space for the use of church goers.
and so also the schools run by parishes. …………. if not, When God, When.
