Udupi District Registers 25 fresh COVID-19 Positive Cases
Udupi: A whopping 25 fresh novel coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Udupi district on Thursday, May 21 taking the figure to 47 in the district.
All the fresh cases have inter-state travel history, links with Mumbai, Telangana and Kerala.
Out of 25 cases tested positive, fifteen children, six men and four women had travelled from various parts of Maharastra, three of them had travelled from Telangana and one from Kerala. All the twenty-five persons have been shifted to the District TMA COVID Hospital in Udupi.
Meanwhile, two persons from Udupi who were under quarantine in Sirsi, Uttar Kannada district have also been tested positive for COVID-19. They were treated at the District COVID Hospital in Uttar Kannada.
