Udupi: A 44-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping from the Mandovi Gokul apartment complex in Kalsanka on Thursday, July 9.
The deceased has been identified as Sunitha Upadhyaya (44), wife of Sudarshan Upadhya.
Sunitha Updhyaya divorced her husband 4 years ago. She was suffering from mental depression and was under treatment. On the morning of July 9, Sunitha Updhyaya took the extreme step by jumping from the fifth floor of the apartment. Sunitha’s divorced husband lives with his son in Chennai.
A case has been registered in the Town Police Station.
