“No ministers will tender resignations to their posts. The rumors of 12 ministers submitting resignations to the cabinet are not true. The Siddaramaiah government is safe and no anti-party activities exist in the Congress.”

Naxal activities in the state are under control at present. A committee for the surrender of naxals led by the Chief Secretary of the government has been formed, with many senior citizens and civil rights activists as members. The government is ready to bring them back to the mainstream, provided they do not set any conditions. The government will implement suggestions to be made by the committee on providing facilities to the naxals who have surrendered.

Speaking on terror activities in the coastal district, the minister said that only a few people from Bhatkal were involved in terrorism.
