Udupi’s First COVID-19 Patient Discharged from Hospital

Udupi: A 34-year-old novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patient was discharged from the COVID Hospital, Udupi on Saturday, April 11.

The patient had tested positive after returning from Dubai on March 18. He was admitted to the Coronavirus treatment ward of Udupi Government Hospital on March 23.

After 20 days of treatment and after being tested negative for the virus thrice, the patient was discharged on Saturday at 9:13 pm.

He was sent to his house in Manipal where he will be kept separately for some more days according to the doctor’s advice.
