BJP national president Amit Shah makes U-Turn! Skips Mangaluru Visit and Returns to Capital- New Delhi

Mangaluru: BJP national president Amit Shah’s interaction with opinion makers and intellectuals slated on Wednesday in the city was cancelled after the national leader cut short his Kerala-Karnataka tour on Tuesday. Shah was supposed to meet opinion makers and intellectuals on Wednesday. The district unit of the party had identified opinion makers and intellectuals for the meeting. The party had also scheduled a meeting of Shah with BJP state leaders on the same day, at Hotel Ocean Pearl-Mangaluru, but all in vain.

Shah, who arrived at Mangaluru International Airport 1.15am on Tuesday (nearly 7 hours late), kicked off the Jana Raksha rally at Payyanur in Kannur district of Kerala. Though Shah was supposed to take part in the rally in Kerala also on October 5 and 6, he cut short the tour and returned to Delhi after receiving a message from the party headquarters. Instead, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has arrived and will be taking part in the Janaraksha rally in Kerala, on Wednesday.

In the meantime, local hardcore BJP supporters are all unhappy for the change of plans made by Amit Shah. All the buntings, and hoardings put up in the City to welcome Amith Shah were of no use. BJP party district leaders were not aware of the reason for Shah’s sudden change in programme schedule. All the big plans and efforts put in by the local BJP supporters were all nullified due to the sudden change of plans by Amit Shah. But rumours are that Shah didn’t return back to New Delhi just because he received a call to come back immediately – but it was due to his unhappiness about the uneasiness and non-unity between the BJP leaders in the State. True or False, only Shah can answer it?
