Using gas obtained from septic tank can reduce global warming – Venkatapathi

Mangaluru: “Hydrocarbons, responsible for global warming, can be eliminated from the exhaust of vehicles. This can be done by redirecting the gas obtained into a septic tank which is then used to run engines of motor vehicles,” said Venkatapathi K
in a press meet held at the Press Club Urwa here, on May 18.

Addressing the mediapersons Venkatapathi said, “Few countries have experimented on this plan but failed due to the presence of other household waste. If a separate septic tank is provided for the metabolic waste, then the gas obtained from the septic tank could be filtered to not contain hydrocarbons.”

He further said, “By inducing the gas into the turbines, we can generate electricity, stop load shedding, reduce the cost of electricity and provide a concession of 50% for farmers. After extracting the gas from the metabolic waste, the excess can be converted into natural fertilizers and supplied to farmers free of cost since chemical fertilizers contain Nafta, which is also harmful to the ozone.”

He also said that this would void the need for income tax since every human being would provide a source of income to the government. “We can stop inflation and give 50% concession on loans,” he added.

He also requested Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to give him an opportunity to solve the problem of funds as less funds were being sanctioned for other programs by the government due to famine.
