Webinar on Speed Math for Competitive Exams at St Aloysius PUC
Mangaluru : Over 600 students took part in an interactive webinar on ‘Speed Math for Competitive Exams’ organized by the Department of Mathematics of St Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru. Dhaval Bathia, a renowned author, mind – power expert and trainer, was the resource person. Bathia, a student of Mrs Shakunthala Devi and a Guinness World Record holder himself, amazed the students with tricks like Birthday Magic and Mental Calculation of cube root of a number etc.
He introduced short-cut techniques of Vedic Mathematics, Pythagoras Theorem, Magic Squaring that help to perform calculations faster. These techniques augmented the mathematical skills of the students. E-certificates and free E-books were also issued to the participants.
