Youth Collapses and Dies While Participating in Bhajan
Mangaluru: A 38-year-old man collapsed and died while participating in a bhajan programme held at the Tokur Subrahmanya Temple premises on the occasion of Ashtami late on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Srinath Shettigar (38), a Tokur resident. Srinath suddenly collapsed while participating in the bhajan. He was immediately rushed to a hospital but was reportedly declared dead from a heart attack.
Srinath worked in Bengaluru and had returned to his hometown to celebrate Ashtami. He was also actively involved in local organisations and was known for his friendly nature and warm interactions with everyone.
His sudden death has left family members and local residents deeply shocked and saddened.
