186 Persons Test Positive For Coronavirus in Udupi District on September 4
Udupi: According to the district health bulletin, 186 persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus in Udupi on September 4 taking the total number of positive cases in the district to 12336.
Among the 186 new cases, 109 are from Udupi, 42 from Kundapur, 27 from Karkala, and 8 from outside the district.
As of now, 247 throat swab samples are pending for results, 1172 samples were sent for testing on September 4 and 1005 samples were tested negative. A total of 62873 swab samples out of the 75456 have tested negative for the coronavirus.
The number of active cases in the district has now gone up to 1967. So far, 10261 patients have been discharged from the hospital after complete recovery, and 108 persons have succumbed to COVID-19.
