29-year-old Woman Dies in Bike Accident at Natekal
Mangaluru: In a tragic road accident, a 29-year-old woman died and the rider was severely injured after his bike lost control and crashed into the road divider at Natekal here, on March 24.
The deceased is identified as Nidhi (29) from Bondel. The bike rider Yatish Devadiga is in critical condition and is undergoing treatment.
According to sources, Nidhi and Yatish had attended the housewarming ceremony of their relative in Mudipu and were returning home. At Natekal Yatish lost control of his motorbike which crashed into the road divider near the Green Ground. Nidhi and Yatish were severely injured in the incident. They were rushed to the hospital but Nidhi succumbed to her injuries.
Yatish is undergoing treatment and his condition is said to be critical.
The traffic police have registered a case and an investigation is on.
