42-year-old man dies in Bike – car collision
Udupi: A 42-year-old man was killed when his bike was involved in a head-on collision with an Innova car on the Udupi- Manipal road near Indrali Junction on April 23 evening.
The deceased has been identified as Sathish Naik (42) Son of Charadu Naik resident of 80 Badagabettu – Parkala. He was working in Manipal Power press as a machine operator.
According to the police, the Innova car was on its way to Udupi from Manipal, near the Indrali Junction Sathish Naik suddenly turned to the right side to go the petrol pump and hit the car coming from the opposite direction. Sathish Naik was seriously injured and rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
Sathish is survived by wife and two daughters.
A case has been registered in Manipal police station.
