6 Suspects Taken into Custody During Search Operations in Lodge at Pumpwell
Mangaluru: The city police have intensified their search in Malls, Hospitals, IT Company’s etc. getting information on the suspected terror attack in the coastal areas on August 16.
The police have also used the bomb detection and the canine squad for the search operations in Infosys, Mudipu; Surya Infotech and KSHEMA Hospital.
Because of a suspected terror attack in the country, Bengaluru is put on high alert. To ensure safety and security in the coastal region the police have taken up search operations in Mangaluru city.
During the search operations in a lodge in Pumpwell, 6 people were taken into custody by the Kadri police. The suspects were using a car with the “National Crime Investigation Bureau and Govt of India” nameplate on it.
The Kadri police have arrested all the six persons and seized the car from their possession. It is suspected that the accused were extorting money using fake nameplate on their car.
The Kadri police are investigating the case.
