ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಂತರ ಮಳೆ – ಜು 23 ರಂದು ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ, ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ರಜೆ ಘೋಷಣೆ
ಉಡುಪಿ : ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಮುಂಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ, ಸರಕಾರಿ, ಅನುದಾನಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲೆ-ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಜು.23ರಂದು ರಜೆ ಘೋಷಿಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹೆಬ್ಸಿಬಾ ರಾಣಿ ಕೊರ್ಲಪಾಟಿ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಭಾರತೀಯ ಹವಾಮಾನ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿರುವ ಮುನ್ಸೂಚನೆಯಂತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಕರಾವಳಿ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಮಳೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿದೆ. ಜು.25ರವರೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ 200 ಮಿ.ಮೀ. ಮಳೆಯಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಡ್ ಅಲರ್ಟ್ ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

If looking for an excuse not to go to school is the attitude kids have these days then they might as well quit school and follow Alia Bhatt on social media 24/7. Why waste others’ time and tax payers’ money when it can be put to good use elsewhere.
Now with the advent of YouTube, my view is that education should be mandatory only till 7th grade. After that students should pursue their dreams – YouTube has all the resources they need.
Today schools have been reduced to day care centers for children so their parents can go to work. And I don’t want to get started about those fancy schools with “international” in their name.
