Bengaluru: City Police Nab Nigerian National while Peddling Ganja and Cocaine

Bengaluru: The CCB police from the city have nabbed Paul Ezenwa (27), a Nigerian national for possessing and trying to peddle ganja weighing 5 gms and cocaine.

He is said to have arrived into India via Goa two years ago. Ever since he has been into narcotics business. He is already facing a few charges of similar kind.  Upon interrogation, he has said that he secured the contraband from a fellow-Nigerian called Chigo in Goa.


He was caught in a raid a K R Puram. At the time of arrest, he was under the influence of drug and was trying to run away. He was caught with the help of the public.

He does not remember his passport number, but says it had been seized by Melkote police relating to a case under IPC 307.

The CCB police have filed FIR no. 100/14 under section nos. 20B and 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS Act) and section 12 (b) of the Passports Act 1920 and Foreigners Act.
