Dr BR Shetty receives 10-year investor visa in UAE
Joining the list of recipients of 10- year visa, on Tuesday (June 18) was jubilant Dr BR Shetty, founder and chairman – NMC, Finablr and BRS Ventures. He was conferred with a 10-year visa, as an investor. So how does the veteran feel having received such an honour? “Great! I am elated. It is indeed an honour to receive this from the Government of UAE. At the immigration, I was received like a VIP. The entire immigration process took only 5-minutes.”
Shetty received a call from the government of UAE and was informed that he will be bestowed with the honour of a long-term visa. Applauding the initiative, Shetty said: “This is an excellent and welcome initiative from the government. The UAE has several examples of immigrants who have moved to the country very early, established businesses and have contributed immensely to the country’s economy. The 10-year visa and the Gold Card’ will certainly encourage them and also provide confidence and security to further invest into the economy. This is also brilliant from the point of view of transforming the UAE into one of the most sought after global hubs for investment, economic growth and development.”
