First AIE flight from Muscat Carrying 64 Passengers Lands at MIA

Mangaluru: The Air India Express flight from Muscat carrying 64 passengers landed at the Mangaluru International Airport at 8:05 pm on May 20.

The IX-818 Boeing 737, carrying 179 passengers all Karnataka returnees, landed at the Bengaluru International Airport at 6:31 pm 115 passengers, including 2 infants, disembarked at the Bengaluru Airport. The other 64 passengers continued their journey to Mangaluru.

The district administration had made all the necessary arrangements like money transfer, sim card, health kit distribution, dinner etc. for those who returned by the first flight from Muscat.

The district administration has also made the vehicle arrangements to drop the Muscat returnees to the Quarantine centres.
