Hassan: The Sakleshpur taluk unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has filed a complaint in the town police station regarding a Facebook post.
They have alleged that on Taresh, who is serving as a police constable in the station has posted morphed and distorted pictures of former chief minister and now Shivamogga MP B S Yeddyurappa in the Facebook and they have harmed his image.
They have requested the police higher-ups to take serious action against this serving policeman for not only bringing an elected representative into disrepute but also breaking the service rules.
They have sought his immediate suspension and initiation of proceedings against him, failing which the party would launch a severe agitation.
