Husainabba’s Suspicious Death: Hiriyadka SI and Two Cops file Bail Plea
Udupi: The three policemen, including Hiriyadka SI and two others, have filed an application before the District Sessions Court seeking bail, they were arrested in connection with the suspicious death of cattle trader Hussainabba (62) in Perdoor on May 30.
According to sources, Head Constable Mohan Kotwal filed a bail application on June 4. A senior assistant public prosecutor filed the objection for the bail application. The judge heard both sides of the argument and the order will be passed on June 6.
SI DN Kumar and Jeep driver Gopal have filed the bail application on June 5. The Judge has given time to the Senior assistant public prosecutor to file the objection till June 8. On behalf of the accused two of their advocates were present.
The accused are facing charges under IPC 177, 201, 202 and 203 in the Hiriyadka Police Station.
