In District meeting Oscar Ok, but Blossom Yaake asks Uday Kumar Shetty
Udupi: The presence of Blossom Fernandes in the meeting chaired by Rajya Sabha MP Oscar Fernandes at the Deputy Commissioners Office is a violation of the protocol alleged BJP leader Uday Kumar Shetty. He was speaking at a press meet held at the Press Club here on July 10. The participation of Blossom Fernandes in the meeting along with the deputy commissioner and other officials is a clear violation of the protocol.
If Congress leader Oscar Fernandes would have made up his mind to develop the Udupi district, Udupi would have been a well-developed city. The developments initiated by Shrinivas Mallya in Dakshina Kannada are visible to the common people. MP Oscar Fernandes has served as the Rajya Sabha MP for a very long stint but has not promoted the development of Udupi. He was having a good relationship with the Former Congress PM’s but couldn’t initiate any development in the district, he said.
We have great respect for Oscar Fernandes, but people are passing comments saying that if Janardhan Poojary was in the place of Oscar Fernandes the twin districts would have seen huge developments.
The naming of the housing colony after Pramod Madhwaraj is irrelevant. The colony was built by the government and City Municipality. If Pramod Madhwaraj wanted to name the colony after him, he should have spent money and constructed houses for the poor, he added.
