Los Angeles, Feb 20 (IANS) Grammy Award-winning singer Justin Bieber has been told by the North American Primate Sanctuary Alliance (NAPSA) that he would be “irresponsible” to get another monkey as a pet.

The “Sorry” hitmaker previously had capuchin monkey OG Mally as his pet, but the animal was taken off him by officials when he travelled to Germany in March 2013 and put into quarantine.

Now, NAPSA has issued a statement urging Bieber, 21, to turn his attention to a different pet as he cannot provide the correct care a monkey needs to live, reports aceshowbiz.com.

“Please do not repeat this foolish endeavour. It is simply not possible to fulfil the unique needs of your monkey within a private home… It will prove dangerous to both you and your monkey, as well as irresponsible when it comes to your public following,” read the statement.

Recalling what happened when OG Mally was seized from him, Bieber said: “Everyone told me not to bring the monkey. Everybody told me not to bring the monkey. I was like, ‘It’s gonna be fine, guys!’ It was the farthest thing from fine.”

“In Germany, that monkey’s endangered or something … but I had the papers. I even had it written out that he was a circus monkey and he could travel and all that s**t. I had all the right papers. Things get twisted,” he added.

Bieber was given until May 7, 2013 to produce the proper paperwork for his monkey, but after he failed to respond, German officials demanded $8,000 to cover the cost of relocating OG Mally to a zoo, and the creature now lives at the Serengeti Park in Copenhagen.

Martin didn’t want to ‘battle’ Paltrow

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has revealed he never wanted a “battle” with his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

Martin split from the 43-year-old actress in 2014 after almost 10 years of marriage but worked hard to “maintain a friendship” so their children Apple, 11, and Moses, 9, would never have to read negative stories about their relationship, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“If you have kids and they start reading about their parents not liking each other, that’s not good. We just spent a long time trying to maintain a friendship so there wouldn’t have to be any kind of battle,” Martin was quoted as saying by NME magazine.

Despite the high profile of their marriage breakdown, the 38-year-old singer managed to avoid reading media coverage of their split as he felt there would be “no good” in doing so.

“Of course, village gossip, we all like to know what everyone’s up to… But once you start being in it you realise, well, this isn’t really based on any truth,” Martin said.

“Especially if you go through a big break-up, there’s no point reading about it. There’s just no good gonna come from it,” he added.

Hudson reveals ‘the truth’ about being a parent

Actress Kate Hudson says she loves her sons, but the truth is that there are times she can’t stand them.

She discussed about raising sons Ryder, 12, and Bingham, 4, during “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” that airs on Star World Premiere HD, read a statement.

“Let’s start with the fact that I, literally five seconds ago, was on FaceTime with his teacher, going like, ‘He did what? He did…?”.

“He’s a great kid, I love him so much,” she said.

“They’re your kids and you love them and then you can’t stand them sometimes – it’s just the truth,” she added.

Hudson also talked about her sons’ bedtime routine, describing how she has to raise her voice to get the “rowdy” boys to stop jumping on the bed.

“Then it turns into kicking, and then they’re hitting each other, and I’m like, ‘Guys, you got to stop,’ and then for some reason Ryder did something to Bing and, next thing you know, Bing started to cry,” she shared.

“Ryder’s like, ‘He’s the one who’s crying, he’s the one who hit me,’ and then next thing you know – Bing is not sick, he’s not ill – he just throws up.”

She continued: “He threw up everywhere and he thought it was hilarious!”

So what did big brother Ryder do? “He threw up because it was so gross!” Hudson said.

“These are the moments that test you as a parent. I was like, ‘G-g-get out of my room,’” she said in a shaky voice.
