KCWA to celebrate Konkani Diwas on February 15
Kuwait: Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA) is pleased to announce the celebration of ‘Konkani Diwas’ on Friday, 15 February 2019, 11 am onwards in Carmel School, Khaitan Kuwait. A full day event to bring out the talents of Konkani people and students of MaiBhas class. The day will also highlight the rich and vibrant Konkani culture of Mangalore as well as authentic Mangalorean delicacies.
KCWA has planned various competitions for the day and the event is open to all Konkani speaking people residing in Kuwait. Online registrations for the competitions are now open. Please visit KCWA website kcwakuwait.org for registration. The last date to register is 8 February.
Roce Sambhram, Voveyo, Gumta, rib-tickling Jokes, skits, dances, songs, entertainment from MaiBhas class students, Cultural presentation from Mangalorean, Goan, Karwar Konkani groups/associations will be the added attraction. KCWA requests all Konkani speaking people in Kuwait to make use of this opportunity and be a part of this unique event.
