Konaje Police Issue Lookout Notice for Missing Person: A. Mohammad Niyaz
Mangaluru: The Konaje Police Station has issued a lookout notice for A. Mohammad Niyaz, a 33-year-old resident of Innoli Kelaginakere, Pavooru, Ullal Taluk, who has been reported missing since August 2, 2025. Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that may assist in locating Mr. Niyaz.
According to the official complaint filed with the Konaje Police Station (Case No: 91/2025, Section: Missing Person), A. Mohammad Niyaz, an employee of S N Clothes Store in Deralakatte, informed his mother, Hajira, on August 2, 2025, at approximately 2:00 PM, of his intention to travel to Bengaluru for work. He departed from his residence with a change of clothes.
Later that day, at approximately 3:30 PM, Mr. Niyaz’s wife, Shahala, received a phone call from her sister-in-law, informing her to prepare for a visit to her niece, who was admitted to Father Muller’s Hospital in Kankanady. Subsequent attempts by Shahala to contact A. Mohammad Niyaz via his mobile phone were unsuccessful, as the phone was found to be switched off.
Mr. Niyaz has not returned to his residence or his wife’s home, and extensive inquiries among friends and relatives have failed to yield any information regarding his whereabouts.
