Transfer of Priests from one Parish to another is a difficult and painful task on many occasions. As much as the Priests become acclamatized with the parish the people of the Parish also become adjusted and the life of the parish becomes a pleasant place. But we have to take the transfers in a positive sense and must appreciate that a timely transfer of a good priest to another Parish can bring multitudes of positive benefits to each Parish. Priests moving to different parishes bring added benefits of their individual talents and expertise. A Catholic Diocese has an important role to play in India due to so many genuine reasons, and we wish each and every Priest best of luck in their new assignments. A Parish Priest is as important as a LEADER of any society, especially in the secular country such as India where a Parish priest is closely integrated into a mulli-cultural where his Leadership is equally valued.
