Man Dies of Diabetes, Wife and Mother Commit Suicide
Bengaluru: In a tragic incident the wife and mother committed suicide after a man died of diabetes in Muthyalnagar, Yashwantpur.
The incident came to light on Saturday when the foul smell was emanating from a house in Muthyalnagar.
The deceased have been identified as Sheshapani (44), his wife Usha Nandini (42) and his mother Laxmidevi (65) from Muthyalnagar.
According to sources, Sheshapani was suffering from diabetes. Instead of getting treated for diabetes, they prayed to God and believed that God would surely cure Sheshapani. They were also not in touch with any of the family members.
Sheshapani was depressed since he had no children and was suffering from diabetes. Sheshapani died four days ago but no one was informed about it. Unable to bear the loss, Usha and Laxmidevi committed suicide by hanging.
The incident came to light when foul smell began emanating from the Sheshapani’s house. Neighbours informed the police who arrived to the spot and found all the three bodies in a decomposed state. The bodies were then shifted to M S Ramaiah hospital.
A case has been registered in the Yashwant police station and investigations are on.
