Oscar and Ponni Architects, Chennai have won Three Indian Creative Architecture Awards (ICAA) Awards for the ” Best Private Residence of the Year – Raghavan Residence “, “Best Residential Project of the Year – SARE Crescent Township” and “Best Leisure Project of the Year – Apollo Wellness Center”, out of 245 entries submitted by architects nationally. This is the 67th award won by Oscar & Ponni Architects so far and the eleventh award in the year 2015

Summary of Principal Architects, Oscar and Ponni Architects:

Oscar and Ponni Concessao completed their B.Arch Degree from the Regional Engineering College, now NIT Tiruchirapalli in 1986, and 1987. Oscar and Ponni completed their Master’s in Architecture from the University of Oklahoma, Norman and Cornell University, New York City. Thereafter they did their Advanced Professional Studies at Harvard University. After their post graduate studies in the USA they worked for few years in New York City with leading architectural firms specializing in Skyscrapers, Institutional buildings, Hotels, Hospitals and Stadiums.

They returned to India and settled in Chennai, Ponni’s hometown and started their Architectural and Interior design practice in 1996. Over the years they built their practice designing versatile projects such as Universities, Engineering and Medical Colleges stadiums at Doha, Qatar, several Information technology Parks, Bio tech Parks, Nano Technology parks, townships, hospitals, apartments, Hotels, Resorts, Malls, Corporate offices, luxury Bungalows, Factories, SEZ, several Government and State buildings. Oscar and Ponni architects have won 67 International, National and State Awards for their Architecture and Interior designed projects.
