Mangaluru: The owner of ‘Academy Career Guidance Incorporation’ (Trust) has cheated a number of people, assuring them of providing jobs to their children in the Army and air-force. He has taken cash as well as post dated cheques from many persons and assured that if they did not get the job then he would return the money. To make them believe him, he had given them post dated cheques signed by him. But even after a year none of the applicants were able to get the promised job. Moreover, the cheques had bounced due to lack of money in the account. The parents of the students came from Madikeri and staged a protest in front of the Academy at Jayashree gate, here on January 5.
