Mangaluru: A Security Guard from Kotak Mahindra Bank died in a misfire near PVS here, on March 26.

The deceased has been identified as Thammaiah (55), Medikere.

According to the police, Thammaiah was on duty in Kotak Mahindra Bank. He was holding the gun in his hand. It misfired and the bullet hit his neck. Thammaiah died on the spot.

Kadri Police have reached the spot.
