Mangaluru: Addressing the media persons during a press meet, Chandrashekar Rai Akshay- chief producer of the tulu film “Right Bokka Left, Nadutu Kudonji” (Right and Left, One More Between) said, “Being a entrepreneur with experience in hotel industry and Building, but since there was an opportunity to produce a film when Yatish Kumar Alva presented the Tulu film offer I couldn’t say no, and also since my mother is celebrating her 100th birthday, this film would be her birthday gift. My mother is a keen lover of Tulu language, and I wanted to make a Tulu film as a befitting gift on her birthday”
Director Yatish Kumar speaking said, “The mahurat of the film was done during the World Tulu Conference at Sahyadri College in December 2014. The songs and background music are scored by music composer Dr Nithin Acharya. After we get the censorship certificate, and when we get a date at the local theatres we will launch the film. The film is dedicated to veteran director late KN Taylor”.
“Bale Telipale” reality comedy show actor, Sandeep Shetty is the lead actor in the movie, along with three actress, namely Chaya Harsha, Mohair Shetty (from Delhi) and Namitha Sharan. The story will revolve round two friends and how one of them deals with three women in his life. “How he deals with them and how his friend looks it from a philosophical angle will constitute the central part of the film,” said Alva.
The two-and-a-half hour film will have three songs and 91 artistes and is shot in Udupi and Mangaluru. The cost of the movie is about Rs 60 lakh. Prasanna Shetty, actor, will also play an important role in this movie. Tonse Vijay Kumar Shetty, Shobha Rai, Dayakar Alva, Sharatchandra Kumar, Uday Kumar Shetty, Anil Kumar Alva, Kemthur Ashok Shetty, Rajesh Shetty and Harsha Rai are also appearing in the film.
