Mangaluru: The Kerala food Festival, “Ente Keralam”, was inaugurated at Hotel Ocean Pearl here, on January 30.
The food festival was inaugurated by Haseena Naufal, Sonia Moras, Anitha Rao and Anju Sharma by lighting a traditional lamp along with other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, the Vice President of the hotel B N Girish said, “This season, Ocean Pearl Mangaluru offers the finest Kerala Food festive experience on 30 and 31 January. To make the occasion heavenly, chefs have been brought from God’s own country, Kerala. We are expecting about 800 to 1000 people for the fest.”
150 Kerala dishes have been exhibited in the festival. Kerala traditional drummers performed Chende Melam on the occasion.
Chairman and Managing director of Ocean Pearl Jayaram Bannan, Managing director Roshan Bannan, CEO Ramanjith Singh, General Manager Biju Verghese and others were also present.
