Pejawar Swamiji suffers back Injury as car jumps speed breaker in Hyderabad

Udupi: Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math suffered back injury while his car jumped the speed breaker at Karnool near Hyderabad here on Saturday, January 20.

According to Pejawar Math sources, the Swamiji was travelling to Hyderabad Airport from Mantralya in an Innova Car. When the car reached near Karnool the driver failed to notice the speed breaker on the road. On impact, the car jumped nearly a foot high. The Swamiji who was relaxing in the car during the incident suffered back sprains and was rushed to the nearby hospital.

After treatment, the Swamiji returned Mangaluru. The doctors have advised the Swamiji to take rest for a week. Presently the Swamiji is under rest at the Vijayadhwaja Mandir Udupi.

The Pejawar Swamiji completed his two-year Paryaya Tenure on January 18 morning thereafter he participated in 4 programmes in Udupi. In the afternoon he visited Sonda Math at Sirsi, thereafter he participated in various programmes in Gadag and Mantralaya. After completing the Mantralaya programme he visited Hyderabad on Saturday.
