PhD Awarded to Deshel Levines Fernandes of St Aloysius University
Mangaluru: St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, announces the conferral of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) upon Ms. Deshel Levines Fernandes, an Assistant Professor at the School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy. Ms. Fernandes has been recognized for her scholarly research into the evolving dynamics of consumer behavior within the digital marketplace. Her thesis, entitled “A Study on the Emerging Trends in Online Purchase Decisions for Lifestyle Products Among the Youth in Udupi District,” provides an in-depth exploration of the factors influencing online purchasing choices among young consumers.

Ms. Fernandes pursued her doctoral research under the supervision of Dr. Shailashri V.T., a Research Professor at the Institute of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University, Mangaluru. Dr. Shailashri’s mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping the research methodology and ensuring the academic integrity of the study.
