‘Ram Mandir should become a Great Pilgrimage Center for Hindus – Baba Ramdev

Udupi: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has demanded that the the Ram Mandir should become a great pilgrimage Çentre for Hindus. “Like Vatican is for Christians and Mecca is for Muslims, the Ram Mandir should be established as a main pilgrimage center for Hindus” he added.

He was speaking to media persons in Udupi on Friday night, where he said, ” Sri Vishwesha Thirtha Swamiji and many other Hindu leaders dreamt to build Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The Supreme Court has instructed to form Trust with all level leaders. The government should form the Trust with involvement of senior Swamijis and other Hindu leaders. Ayodhya is not only for Ram Mandir, it should become the monument for Vedic tradition of the Hindu religion, he said.

He further said, “Lord Ram was the ancestor not only of Hindus, but also of Muslims. Both Hindus and Muslims should help each other to build the temple and the mosque”. Welcoming the ruling that five acres of land at an alternate location in Ayodhya will be given for the construction of a mosque, Ramdev said “Hindus should help in the construction of a mosque”. He also said that a grand Ram temple would be constructed at the site.

“This is a historic verdict. A grand Ram temple will be built. Decision to allot alternate land to Muslim side is a welcome gesture, and I believe that Hindu brothers should help in the construction of the Masjid as well,” said Ramdev

“The Ram Temple’s construction at Ayodhya should start on Ram Navami day and our Prime Minister should lay the foundation stone for the Temple”, he said. Commenting over the statement of Asaduddin Owaisi over dissatisfaction with the verdict in the Ayodhya title suit, Baba Ram Dev said “Owaisi is always a negative minded person and he is filled with hatred. He is trying to create clashes between Hindu Muslims but our priority should be Peace and Unity”.

Baba Ramdev is conducting a five day Yoga camp at Sri Krishna Math’s parking area from November 16-20, and He will be present on all the five days to guide the participants about the Asanas from 5 am to 7 am. About 30,000 people are expected to take part in the camp.
