Six Christians arrested for distributing scripture
Udupi: Six persons were taken into custody by the Kota Police on charges of allegedly distributing the Christian scripture in Manikallu near Billadi on Sunday, October 16.
According to the police, these six persons were visiting houses and distributing the Christian scripture to the people. The Brahmari Yuvaka Mandala and Hindu Jagarana Vedike members informed the Kota Police.
The police visited the spot and took them into custody after the locals’ complained. The Hindu Jagarana Vedike also alleged that a local person is helping to distribute the Christian scripture from many days.
Police seized the scriptures and Car during the raid and have registered a complaint.
