Udupi: Family members of Sumathi (30) were rampant over the alleged medical negligence of District Government Hospital as the baby had died in Sumathi’s womb. Sumathi was consulting with the doctor from the past 7 months at the District Government Hospital.
Sumathi had seen the doctor at the District Government Hospital on Thursday 27 morning and was asked to wait. Later in the evening she was admitted. On Saturday morning she was taken for scanning and the report stated that baby has died in womb.
The relatives of Sumathi later lodged a complaint with the District Surgeon.
