Young Author Reshel Fernandes Honored with National Icon Award 2025
New Delhi: Ms. Reshel Bretny Fernandes, a distinguished young author and orator hailing from Mangaluru, has been bestowed with the National Icon Award 2025 – Season 9. The prestigious accolade recognizes Ms. Fernandes’ significant accomplishments on international, national, and regional platforms. The award ceremony was held at the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya auditorium in New Delhi.
Ms. Fernandes, celebrated for her eloquence and impactful literary contributions, has authored four books addressing critical issues prevalent in contemporary society. Her work has been widely lauded, earning commendation from prominent leaders across various sectors. Notably, her books have been shared with the offices of the Prime Minister, the President of India, and the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, among other high-ranking officials.
The Bhartiya Yuva Welfare Foundation, New Delhi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism (Jammu & Kashmir), the Ministry of Defence, and other government departments, selected Ms. Fernandes for this distinguished honor in recognition of her notable contributions.
Shri Raghuraj Singh, Minister and MLA UP, presented the National Icon Award to Ms. Fernandes. The event was attended by ministers from the Union government, as well as other ministers and esteemed dignitaries. The ceremony was held in association with Bharat News and other renowned media platforms.
