18-year-old Engineering Student Dies in Road Mishap

Mangaluru: A 18-year-old engineering student died after his two-wheeler skidded at Nanthur on January 13.

The deceased has been identified as  Mohammed  Omar  (18) from Falnir.

According to sources, on January 12, Mohammed  Omar had gone to his friend’s house to prepare for the examinations. At around 10:30 pm while Omar was on his way back home his two-wheeler skidded near the Chefs restaurant and crashed into a parked vehicle. Omar was severely injured in the head and died on the spot.

Omar was a student of first-year Civil Engineering at St Joseph’s Engineering College Vamanjoor.

A case has been registered in the Mangaluru Traffic East Police Station.
