Kasaragod: College Student Dies in Road Accident
Kasaragod: A 19-year-old college student, K.V. Abdul Rahman, has died following a road accident in Battathur near Poyinachi. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening when the motorcycle he was riding collided with the rear of a stationary bus on the National Highway.
Rahman, a resident of Kuniya, sustained serious injuries in the collision. He was immediately transported to a hospital in Mangalore for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries early Thursday morning.
The Bekal Police Station has registered a case concerning the accident and is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
K.V. Abdul Rahman was known to be the secretary of the SSF Kuniya unit.
