Udupi District Administration Issues Helpline Amid Middle East Crisis

Udupi: In view of the prevailing instability in certain Middle Eastern countries and the resulting disruption in international flight services, the Udupi district administration has issued important information in the public interest.

Airspace Restrictions and Current Situation
Air routes in 11 countries, including Iran, Israel, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia, have reportedly closed until March 2. Due to these unexpected disruptions, several passengers from Karnataka are stranded in various Middle Eastern nations, including the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).

Steps Taken by the Administration
As per the directions of the Chief Minister and the Revenue Minister, the State and District Emergency Operation Centres are functioning round the clock (24×7). The district administration is continuously monitoring advisories issued by the Ministry of External Affairs and Indian embassies abroad.
