ವೀರ ಸೈನಿಕರಿಗೊಂದು ಸಲಾಮು
ಭಾರತ ಮಾತೆಯೇ ಕೇಳು
ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮಯ ಗೋಳು
ಆಯಿತು ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಸೈನಿಕರ ಜೀವದ ಹೋಳು
ಬಿತ್ತು ಆತ್ಮಾಹುತಿ ಬಾಂಬು ಕಾಶ್ಮಿರದೊಳು......
ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕರ ಕರಾಳ ದಿನ
ಚಿಮ್ಮಿತು ಚರಿತ್ರೆಗೆ ರಕ್ತದ ಬಣ್ಣ
ದೇಶ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು
ಹೊರಟಿತು...

ಹೆಣ್ಣೆಂದಲ್ಲ.! ಗಂಡಿನ
ಕುರುಹು ನನ್ನೊಳಗಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೆ ..?
ಅಲ್ಲ, ನಿರ್ವಾಣ ಕಾಯದ
ಮಾಯವಾದ ಊನಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೆ..?
ಉತ್ತರ ಸಿಗದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿವು ...
ಹೊಕ್ಕಳ ಬಳ್ಳಿ ಕಡಿದಾಗ
ನಾನು ಅವನೇ...! ಈಗ
ಅವಳೊ .ಅವನೋ ಯಾವುದೋ
ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಅಯೋಮಯ ...
ನೋವಿಗೆ ನಾಯಕನ ನಾಯಕಿಯೊ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ...
