Constitution is the heart, core and carnal of the country
One nation religion faith to profess that is the beauty
Sovereign socialist secular democratic republic
Justice liberty equality fraternity adored relic

Legislative executive judiciary pillars to hold
Cult culture code and creed speech to behold
Masochist’s rapist’s sharks at the altar of parliament
Marginalized hated vulnerable pawned ‘n’ torn apart

History distorted Truth diluted ambition blotted
News bought freedom curtailed emergency declared
Tension depression suppression perception only hype
Life threatened judiciary collapsed Constitutional catastrophe

Attitude altered beauty brutalized Culture cursed dress saffronised
Etiquette extinguished food communalized speech strangled oh God
Deeds demonized unity criminalized education commercialized
Rape glorified death demeaned lynching lionized justice juveniled

Wake up India realize media sell not freedom for measly oration
Protect constitution promote humanity preserve institution
Stop stall infanticide castigate domestic violence wipe tears
Let love peace brother sisterhood flow without fear


    Fr Joachim D’Souza, Capuchin   is a catholic priest obtained his Doctorate in the faculty of Human Rights. He has finished his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Laws (LLB) and completed Masters in Sociology and Laws (LLM). He is engaged in teaching philosophical and Theological colleges and a resource person in current subjects at various institutions.
